Rebuilding a due diligence platform in motion
A European legaltech whose tool had to scale without interrupting live cases. Taking over a living system is open-heart surgery: every migration reversible, every domain boundary explicit, every security practice automated rather than promised.
The context
A European legaltech whose due diligence platform serves legal professionals on sensitive deals. The tool worked and clients were there, but the original architecture slowed every evolution, and growth could not wait for a full-stop rewrite.
The work
A rebuild in motion: full refactoring towards Domain-Driven Design, explicit domain boundaries, database migration with zero interruption to live cases. A move to API-first architecture to open the platform to integrations, security practices automated in CI, documentation generated continuously rather than promised.
What remains
A platform that evolves without fear: every migration reversible, every business rule named, every control executed by the machine. The rebuild was never a project; it became the way of working.
- Full refactoring and move to Domain-Driven Design
- Database migration with zero downtime
- API-first architecture opening the platform to integrations
- Automated security and continuously generated documentation
